Help A Family Get Time Away From Cancer

It is the mission of our organization to give patients “time away from cancer.”  Sometimes that is a weekend away with their families. Sometimes that means a call to check in after treatment or connection with a support group for the patient. Often it includes offering resources to battle this disease without the stress of financial burdens. 

What we provide:

  • Pickwick Lake Retreats for patients and their families. Time to rest, recharge, and create lasting memories. Through donations of individuals and local businesses, we cover the all the expenses for patients to enjoy all that this beautiful place has to offer.
  • Our organization works with both Darryl Worley and West Cancer Centers to identify patients with financial needs, and offer resources to those individuals while undergoing treatment. Those resources include chemo care items, food and gas gift cards, holiday meals, and bill assistance. 
  • We support other organizations that positively impact the life of cancer patients including LifeLine Pilots, Kirk Thurman Memorial Scholarship, and LifeSpan Healthcare to provide free mammograms for patients that do not meet the requirements of the TBCSP. ​


Cassie’s Cause is a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and financial donations are tax deductible.
